the LOCAL GROUP is a virtual recording artist (comprised of real musicians) that is aiming at a global audience ­ via the internet ­ with a potential range of over 100 million light-years.

Members include our staff plus other selected guest musicians and lead singers. Each artist's talents are tapped (as needed) for each recording of each song produced by MusicAmaze for this resident in-site band. The roots are Rock - wedded to three generations of the best in all types of music influences. Our aim is to have fun while making music that is creative, original, entertaining and pertinent ­ so industry imposed genre/format restrictions do not necessarily apply.

the LOCAL GROUP would like to be a real live band on stage as well as on recordings ­ if the audience wants and supports it. In any case, we plan to keep recording and releasing new material with the best available talent around ­ known and unknown.

Most of the songs are written by son and father team Curt and Glenn Houle ­ based in Los Angeles, California, USA, planet Earth of Sol.

Some are calling this long-awaited release an epic, featuring 16 full-length songs with all-original compositions, arrangements and production by the MusicAmaze crew. Rarely will you hear a creative team so flawlessly and un-selfconsciously move between diverse styles such as hard rock, jazz ballads, funk, and R&B.

The songs are bound together loosely in a theme that amounts to a hard look at the loss of innocence and what sometimes passes for love in today's world.

Moving lead vocals of Paula Mattioli and Tony Hall - along with lots of great musicians, including Curt and Glenn Houle, Joey Palmeri, John Ugarte, and Jeff Jones.
